A second collection will be taken for the Catholic Communications Campaign.
See below for two attachments: A letter from Bishop McManus and a flyer about the 2022 Catholic Communications Campaign.
From Bishop McManus' letter:
The most important reason why we need Communications Ministry more than ever is tied to our evangelizing mission. We need to communicate in order to offer an invitation to know Jesus Christ through his Church. In apostolic times, our patron, St. Paul, went out in the public squares of the communities he visited to preach the Good News. Today, the public square is more virtual - online, on TV, in texts, emails and in print and social media.
Tuesday, June 8th, 9:30 am: Prayer Shawl Ministry Meeting, church hall

Many people have come forward interested in volunteering to continue the efforts of the Food Pantry. Thank you.
An informational meeting will be held on June 8th at 6:30 pm in the parish hall for anyone who is interested in this volunteer work and would like to learn more about the logistics of the Food Pantry.

Goal: $43,000
Status: 76% [$32,481]
Amount needed to reach goal: $10,519
Why Give to the Partners in Charity Appeal?
And the king will say to them in reply, “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Your gift to the Partners in Charity Appeal will support diocesan ministries and agencies that collaborate or reach beyond our parish resources such as formation of future priests, priests retirement, preparing catechetical leaders and catechists, youth and adult faith formation, homeless prevention and emergency stabilization, and more.
Every pledge or gift makes a difference. To make a gift today, use the pledge envelope in the pew or you can "text to give" by texting DONATE to 84576. Visit partners-charity.net. to make a secure online donation, or call the office at 508-929-4366.
If you are unable to make a financial gift at this time, please continue to pray for the success of this important appeal. As your pastor I am grateful for all you do for our parish and pray that God continues to bless you and your loved ones. Your gift to the Partners in Charity Appeal makes happy endings possible. Funds raised through the Partners in Charity Appeal are a critical supplement to the ministries of the diocese. Your gift helps support over 26 diocesan ministries and agencies. Consider making a gift today. Help us reach our parish goal by the end of this month.
