Irish Fans,
We are into the final week of athletics for the 2021-22 school year, and there is a lot to celebrate this year. Every team in our spring season has competed, are currently competing, or will be competing at State. This is an exciting time for Irish athletics, and its always great to see our students play hard and be recognized for their efforts. Check out the updates for each of our teams below!
Baseball
Our baseball team finished out an incredible season last Saturday, taking 3rd place in the State! The Irish beat Odessa 11-1 that morning, and then took a tough loss from Crosspoint 7-10 in the semi-final game. Their 3rd place finish is the best ranking we have received sinc 2015!

Golf
The following Irish golfers are currently competing at State golf in Deer Park: Jack Lesko, Eli Hurwitz, Lauren Williams, Frankie Worden, and Franklin Magnaghi. Best of luck to our players! Golf scores will be updated throughout the day and can be followed by using this link.

Softball
The Irish softball team finished up Regional play last week with a win over Wilbur-Creston, and they qualified for the State Tournament for the first time since 2017! Our lady Irish earned the #4 State ranking and will play #5 Naselle in the first round on Friday, May 27, at Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima. The game will start at 12:00 PM. Digital tickets are required for this event and can be purchased by clicking here.

Track and Field
Our Track and Field team braved some tricky weather at their District meet last weekend. But, despite the weather, 9 of the 12 kids who competed qualified for State! The State meet will be held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week in Cheney, at Eastern Washington University. A huge congratulations to our team, and good luck at State!
