This Weekend—May 28th & 29th
This special collection connects people locally and around the world with Christ through the internet, television, radio and print media. Fifty percent of the funds we collect stay in our diocese to support local communication efforts as well as projects in developing countries. Envelopes are in the pews for your use. 75th ANNIVERSARY KICK-OFF FUNDRAISER
Join us on Sunday, June 12th from 5:00-7:00pm in Stack Center as we kick-off our fundraising efforts with a Spaghetti Dinner, sponsored by our Franciscans. RSVP by signing up below or by calling the Parish Office at 510-537-0806. Reservations will close on Wednesday, June 8th at 8:00pm. We are seeking an expected $10 per person to help prepare for our celebration in the Fall. The Franciscans will ask for the intercession of St. Anthony to bless our Church community. See you there!

OUR HISTORY AT OUR LADY OF GRACE
75th Anniversary Memory
With great joy, the school opened with the first four grades in 1955 (two years before the new church). A new grade was added each year until there were eight grades. In 1979 a Kindergarten class was added. The Carmelite Sisters of Charity came from Spain to teach the classes with great dedication. Their convent was built in 1956 and it is currently called Casa Kolbe, home of our priests. The former rectory is not the site of the Parish Office.

Mark Vaz, again! Here to remind you that Fr. Tom wants parishioners memory contributions for a publication celebrating OLG’s 75th Anniversary. The topics are virtually endless—you might be part of a parish ministry, part of the parish school, perhaps, you’re a member of long-range planning committee. Please prepare your story, anecdote, or reflection as soon as possible. Printed statements should be double-spaced. If you don’t have a computer or printer, you may print it out by hand, just make sure it’s clear and legible. Include your full name and contact phone number in case I have any questions. Then submit it to Jay at the Parish Office or put it in an envelope and slip it in the office mail slot. Please label your submissions to “Mark Cotta Vaz/75th Anniversary History”. FAMILY FAITH FORMATION
REGISTRATION 2022-2023
Registration for 1st Communion, Confirmation and Whole Family Catechesis for Fall 2022 is now available. Classes begin in September. Registration forms are available in the Parish Office & by clicking the red button below. If you would like to register online, please click the blue button below. Cost is $120 for the 1st child and $60 for each additional child in the same household.
There is an early bird discount if you register by June 1st. If you need financial assistance, please call the Parish Office at 510-537-0806.

ICF DINNER & MEETING
Come join the ICF, Branch #343, for our Pizza and Salad Dinner on Thursday, June 9th. Doors open at Stack Center at 6:00pm, dinner is at 6:30pm. The cost is $15 per person. ATTENTION LADIES OF OUR PARISH
Here is your chance to make a difference and join the new women's’ group in OLG parish, the Columbiettes. We will be the Ladies Auxiliary to our Knights of Columbus. We are having our Initiation Ceremony here in Stack Center on Wednesday, June 1st. All new candidates for membership should be there at 6:30pm. Many thanks to those parishioners who have already generously contributed towards our Bishop’s Ministries Appeal. We are looking for greater participation! Following is the status of this appeal through April 30th:

Funds Raised (includes pledges): $11,659.00
We are currently at 40% of our goal! We are looking for 100% participation from Our Lady of Grace parishioners!
HELP WANTED: Coordinator
for Whole Family Programs (K-5)
The Coordinator of K-5 works with the Pastor to provide religious education leadership that supports the mission of our parish. The Coordinator will also manage the curriculum, volunteers, and the implementation of the programs that support the teaching of the Church and encourage opportunities for involvement in parish life. This is a part-time, 12-15 hours per week, Non-Exempt position and must be available for the Sunday programs 2-3 Sundays a month from September-May.
