Fr. Jeff Wilson, from All Saint's parish in Twain Harte, CA celebrated his 11 year anniversary of Ordination. Fr. Jeff and the faithful of the parish gathered after Mass on Saturday, June 4th. May God grant Fr. Jeff many more years of dedicated service.

June - Blessing of the Land
Land and life go hand in hand. Our daily bread comes from land as well as much else that sustains us. The land is beautiful for its mountains and plains; its beauty resounds in the canyons and draws. Its goodness thrives in the forests and fields; every plant emerges from it.
Do we take for granted how precious and fragile the land is? How grateful we should be! Only in rich soil do roots grow deep; if we deplete the soil, we risk everything. Our lives and the great variety of life on the earth depend upon the land and its vitality.
Let us thank God the Creator: He shares this land with us as a promise of His goodness, now and for eternity.

“Ser padres hoy, retos y desafíos”.
La conferencia pretende dar herramientas a los padres de familia para la educación de sus hijos sobre los desafíos más actuales. Está dirigída a padres de familia con hijos entre los 8 y 20 años y a líderes en el ministerio a la familia. El conferencista será el Lic. Ferney Ramirez, psicólogo clínico y con estudios de teología y espiritualidad. Junio 17: 7-9 pm(Inscripciones: 6:00PM) y Junio 18: 8:30 AM a 5:30 PM, en el gimnasio de la parroquia Sagrado Corazón, 1301 Cooper Ave., en Turlock. El evento es en español y solo para adultos.

June 17 - 18 - Conference for Parents in Spanish
“Being Parents Today, Challenges”.
The conference aims to provide tools to parents to educate their children about the most current challenges they face. It is addressed to parents with children between the ages of 8-20 years and to pastoral leaders serving in family pastoral ministry. June 17: registrations begin at 6:00PM, conference 7-9 pm and June 18: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Sacred Heart Church, 1301 Cooper Ave., Turlock. Adults only.

Resources will be presented by Catholic Charities, Spanish Marriage Encounter, Movimiento Familiar Cristiano, and Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery and Prevention Services. This event is a collaboration of Sacred Heart parishes in Turlock and in Patterson, and the Office of Hispanic Ministry.
