The year 2023 will mark the 150th anniversary of Sacred Heart Parish. As we begin our preparations for this milestone event, we are asking for your suggestions on campus projects to undertake for this special year.

Celebration of the Sacred Heart

Join our parish in preparation for celebrating our namesake! This year, the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus falls on Friday, June 24th. As a parish family, you are invited to join in praying the Novena to the Sacred Heart from June 16-24 at 6:00 PM via our social media platforms. Additional resources will be available in the Narthex and Parish Center for those without computer access. We will conclude the Novena with a special vigil: a holy hour with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Vespers led by Dcn. Javier Fuentes on June 24th at 6:00 PM in the Main Church. Our celebrations will conclude with the celebration of the Solemnity at the Sunday Masses that weekend (June 25-26).

New Kneelers are Coming to the Main Church

After more than 25 years, we are replacing the pads on all the kneelers in the Main Church. If you are at least 16 years old, skilled in construction and can help demo/install the new pads once they arrive from the manufacturer, please contact Chris Fronheiser at 410-710-8665 or chrisfronheiser@comcast.net and join the work crew. We need runners to shuttle between the church and dumpster and need people equipped with their own cordless drills. Install dates are scheduled for the mornings of June 18th and 25th in the Main Church.

Parish Beautification Projects
