This year's theme is God's Wonder Lab: God does marvelous things!
A science lab conducts experiments that explain how things are possible. In Jesus’ ministry, He did things that are impossible. His greatest miracle of all was dying on the cross and rising from the dead for our salvation. At God’s Wonder Lab, kids will learn about some of Jesus' most incredible miracles and discover that God still does the impossible for us today.
Volunteers Needed!
There are lots of ways you can serve at VBS, both for the full week or just part of it. Teens and adults are welcome to volunteer! High schoolers can get all the service hours they need done in one week. Here are some roles that might be the right fit for you:
- Crew Leader: Lead a group of children through stations with the help of assistant crew leaders (groups organized by grade)
- Crew Assistant: Assist Crew Leaders in the leading of and caring for a group of kids
- Station Leaders: Stay at one station and lead each crew of children through the activities for your station. Stations include crafts, games, science, storytelling, and bible challenges.
- Station Assistant: Assist Station Leaders as they engage kids in daily lessons and activities
- Snack Team: Help prepare and distribute snacks for the kids
- Decorating Team: Create "God's Wonder Lab" (science lab environment) in the hall during the week leading up to VBS
