Sunday Readings:
Proverbs 8:22–31 Holy Wisdom is God’s playmate, God’s creative companion.
Psalm 8 “O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!”
Romans 5:1–5 Faith matures into a well-founded hope for God’s promised glory.
John 16:12–15 The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one in perfect communion.
Before the Trinity was revealed, the author of Proverbs personified God’s wisdom as an entity distinct from God and deigning to stay on the earth God created. Saint Paul teaches the Romans that through the Son and Holy Spirit, we share in God’s grace and God’s love. In the Gospel, Jesus promises his disciples the Holy Spirit, who guides us to all truth. With all that we have received from our generous God, we can truly sing, “O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!” ~from Pastoral Patterns, Spring 2022
Lecturas dominicales:
Proverbios 8:22–31; Salmo 8; Romanos 5:1–5; Juan 16:12–15
