WOW!!! Last week we celebrated the birthday of the Church, and the power of the Holy Spirit being unleashed into the world through the disciples of Jesus, and continuing on in a very real way through each of us baptized into the community of love we know as the Holy Trinity. It is the foundational mystery of our faith that there are three persons but only one God. This isn't a mystery to be puzzled out or solved or explained, but rather one to be encountered and entered into. Here are two very short videos to help us think about and experience the mystery of love that is the Holy Trinity:
I just love that notion that we don't have a way to experience the fullness of the relationship of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as God is beyond our comprehension. I thought that the 2 dimension vs 3 dimension example was really helpful in reminding me that God's ways are not my ways and my brain just isn't big enough to understand those ways. This next video does an awesome job of describing the idea of the Holy Trinity being a community of love. It's also really entertaining:

So far this note has Father, Son, and Spirit, three "Holy-s", and three videos, so why don't we add three spirit filled opportunities to round it out:
