Dear Friend,
May this weekend's celebration of Juneteenth help us to recall that all people in our nation are free, but freedom has not always been equally distributed over time and circumstance. Our journey as followers of Jesus is to work diligently to eradicate the sin of racism and where there has been injustice because of the color of an individual's skin, to work for reconciliation and restoration.
God our Father shows us the path to reflect his righteousness in all we do. He sees all people as His children and as equals before God. God sees us as dignified and wants the best for all. As God lifts us up, He serves as a model for all Father's to be compassionate and loving within their families. We pray this Father's Day (a day shared with Juneteenth) for all who are fathers. May God bless them, giving strength and guidance in their important and challenging role.

Thank You Fr. Falasiko!
This weekend serves as the final weekend for Fr. Falasiko to serve at Saint Andrew as a visiting priest. He began his journey with us as a seminarian and then as an ordained deacon in 2020. Following his ordination as a priest last year in Uganda, he returned to Chicago for a year of advanced studies at Mundelein Seminary which he just completed. He now returns to Uganda for assignment within his home diocese of Kiyinda-Mityana. We are grateful for his years of service at Saint Andrew and ask God's blessings on his future ministry. Send Fr. Save the Date - Fall Fling
Summer has arrived! It will be a great time to lay back, enjoy the sunshine, and soak in summer fun. But don’t forget to save the date for Saint Andrew’s Fall Fling will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022. It will feature our annual golf outing and evening party in a local Lake View establishment. Julie Richards is looking for volunteers to join the committee to make it happen. Retreat for High School Students
Saint Andrew Parish is pleased to support our younger parishioners by partnering with the North Side Kairos which will take place from Friday, August 19, 2022 at 9:00am to Sunday, August 21, 2022 in the afternoon. We are now accepting registrations for participants and leaders. Participants must be entering their Junior or Senior year of high school or exiting their Senior year.
