Irish Athletic Update: Summer Details!
We made it to the end of another school year, and what an exciting year it was for all of our sports teams! We wanted to send you another Irish Athletics Update to cap off year and send everyone off for summer. Thanks for your continued support of our hard-working athletes, and for checking out the updates below.
Sports Registration for 2022-23 Now Open!
Registration for the sports for the upcoming school year is now open! Sign up at: https://wallawallacatholic-wa.finalforms.com/
*All returning athletes will need to sign up for sports again for the upcoming seasons.
1B Scholastic Cup Ranking
Congratulations to all of the DeSales teams this year as they all helped contribute to our placing 3rd in the Scholastic Cup for the entire state at the 1B level! The Scholastic Cup recognizes performance in the classroom and on the playing surface. Schools that finish at the top of their respective classifications in state athletic competition receive points, as do schools that finish at the top in team academic performance. This is an impressive achievement for our students!
Summer Open Gym Times for 7th-12th Graders:
Volleyball: 5:00-6:30 PM Mon/Wed

Summer Strength Training Sessions
Starting June 13
Strength Training Sessions will be hosted by a number of different DeSales Coaches over the summer for students entering 7th-12th Grade. Sessions are free and will be held at DeSales.
Monday-Thursday
6:00-7:30 AM and 6:00-7:30 PM
Two sessions each day are open for all 7th-12th grade students to attend as much as they want over the summer.

Irish Basketball Camp Opportunities
Our basketball programs are hosting summer basketball camps for both boys and girls in elementary and middle school. Take a look at the details below.
Boys Basketball Camp
Cost is $50
Dates:
- June 14th-17th, 9:30-11:30 AM, entering 1st-5th grade
- June 14th-16th, 12:00-2:00 PM, entering 6th-8th grade (Time Change*)
- June 17th, 9:30-11:30 AM, all grades for pizza party and games
*Older grades had a time change from initial flyers
