New Grief Support Group
Good God, Good Grief is a 4-week support group located at St Anne House of Prayer.
This group is for those who have lost a loved one since January 2020 due to Covid-19, or otherwise.
Facilitated by Jane Fleming, MPM
Saturdays, July 9th, 16th, 30th and August 6th.
11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Many of us have lost loved ones during the last 2½ years during the Covid-19 pandemic. We endured isolation and loneliness in this time and are just now beginning to emerge back into community, but without significant people in our lives.
Times of loss can test or strengthen our faith and can also lead to personal growth and resilience.
This support group will provide a place to process losses through listening, prayer and sharing.
Registration is limited to 12.
School Days
All’s quiet in the halls of St. Anne School but before they left, the seventh grade class had one more set of honors to award. At their end-of-the-year retreat, they choose their classmates who exemplify leadership the four Student Learning Expectations. This year’s honorees are:
Active Person of Faith – Abe Christianson and Ethan Budge
Lifelong Learner – Zach Davis and Laura Pelletier
Globally Aware – Ethan Burkhart
Well Balanced – Macy Fields
We look forward to the leadership of all the 7th graders as we as continue to move toward more “normal” this next school year.
The school’s theme this year was “Take Courage”. St. Anne school parents and families accepted the call. All year, they tested, retested, reported, masked and quarantined to minimize the impact of Covid. The whole parish community benefits from their efforts.
We are not in the clear yet but amid baskets of prayers also take the cheerful advice of a years ago beloved parishioner, Millie Marrese Vizzare, “Grab a bowl and go pick raspberries.”

Donate a Poinsettia
Each year we ask parishioners to purchase and bring a holiday poinsettia to help decorate our church for Christmas. This year, we have the opportunity to support the Seattle Prep graduating Class of 2022 by purchasing through this link:
Poinsettias are $16 with a choice of red, white, or pink.
