Good week! We completed Chapter 7 in math and took the test yesterday. We are done with division for a while minus reviews. On to fractions! We also took a reading test today. After the first quarter we have only been taking reading tests about once a month. Our phonics this week has been changing y to i before adding es or ed, capitalizing titles of names and pronouns and when it is needed to double a consonant before adding ed or ing. Social Studies has produced some great conversation! We are studying the national government with vocabulary words being...constitution, Congress (and it's 2 parts), representative, along with jobs the President has and what our rights and responsibilities are as citizens.
Thank you Elyse for snack this week, it was yummy! Next week is Liam's turn!
