Congratulations to Ian on his baptism last week! I have two more people planning to be baptized in March. If you or anyone you know needs to be baptized, please let me know!
This needs to be a regular part of our month. We also need to see people get saved, and then baptized. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Sunday morning, I will be returning to an intermittent series that I began my first two weeks in the pulpit here: Small Words. The title is Heaven’s Outstanding Promises Ensured. See if you can figure out the small word we will be focusing on!
Text is Isaiah 40.25-31.

Next week, March 4, will be Scout Sunday The pack will present the colors, and Scoutmaster Adam Dunlap will share some thoughts regarding the scouts. I’m preparing a special message for the day.

Jamil made we aware of a seminar being held locally to equip us to evangelize.
Here is the overview: Go and Tell is an easy and practical way to equip you to become a fisher of men (Matthew 4:19). This three-hour interactive seminar will provide you with the tools to “be active in sharing your faith so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.” (Philemon 6).
It is being Hosted by Community CRC at 3434 Lahmeyer Road, and will be held next Saturday, March 3 from 9:00am-Noon.
I would highly encourage you to attend if possible.

Please remember that we will have the Daylight Savings Time change on Sunday, March 11. That is in two weeks.

I have updated the prayer lists that I posted on our website, on the
Resource page. Under the
Names of God, I added an entire page of “El” names of God. “El” is the Hebrew for God, and we find names like, for example, “El Aman”, the God of Truth.
I’ve spent a lot of time meditating on this page. It’s a good one! I also added a
link on the Names of God list to a list of Hebrew names of God that are pronounced by Pastor Tony Evans.
I updated my own
personal prayer list as well to help give you some ideas, and corresponding Bible verses, in order to build your own prayer list.

Jennifer’s Harbor will host a fund-raiser at The Ridge on Sunday, March 18, at noon, following the service. It is a chili and soup cook-off and bake sale! Who would not want to be a part of this??

On Palm Sunday, March 25, we will be hosting a Seder, a Passover meal. This will be a huge, exciting, and fun evening. We will be assembling teams to put together the many parts of this. Please put it on your calendar now!
We will give an exact start time soon, but this will be on Sunday night, and includes dinner! We will need to know beforehand who will be coming. Because of the way a Seder is prepared, will have to have an accurate count ahead of time.
This is a great and memorial event designed for the entire family!
