Summer Youth Group

Who: All rising 6th graders - graduated seniors are welcome
When: Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30pm (June 16th, June 23rd, June 30th, July 7th, July 14th, July 21st)
Where: St. Luke's Holy Family Room and ends outside or in the parish hall
What: This summer we'll watch "The Search" on Formed, breaking into grade or gender-specific small groups. Following discussion, we will play outside for the rest of the night, weather permitting!
With summer underway, our Diocesan Office of Child & Youth Protection is encouraging conversations around modesty, respect, and appropriate attire. We will begin with this topic tonight and will begin enforcing appropriate dress tonight. Parents and volunteers, we ask for your support and cooperation. If you would like to talk to us about this, please feel free to reach out!
Going forward, please do not wear the following:
-spandex shorts/pants/leggings
-booty shorts
-tank tops with straps less than 3 fingers wide
-crop tops
-muscle shirts
-shirts revealing cleavage

Parents, we need your help!! As our youth leaders and I are juggling engaging with the youth and trying to get all the odds and ends together (transitions, games, snacks, etc.), we could really use a couple extra pairs of eyes, ears, and hands each evening.
