Eucharistic Procession This Sunday, June 19th, 12:30-3:05 PM

June 19th is the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. All are invited to our annual Eucharistic Procession to praise and honor the Lord and bring his real presence to our neighbors to whom He also belongs. This year's route will be short and close to the parish with 5 prayer stations along the way. Join us for one or more stations starting at our own Marion grotto. Vacation Bible Camp Registration Open!

This Year Bible Camp will be July 18-22! Our theme is: Monumental – Celebrating God’s Greatness! We’ll have a great week of Bible Stories, Songs, Games, and Inspiration! We are planning for 9am – Noon, Monday through Friday. We have limited space this year so register quickly! Communion Services Next Week, June 20-22

While the priests of our Archdiocese are enjoying a time of fellowship, learning, and restoration together, Deacons Ike and Carl will lead our parish in Word and Communion Services at 6:30 PM June 20-22 (Mon-Wed) in place of daily Mass. Confessions are cancelled for Wednesday, June 22. Remember to say a prayer for our priests during this time

Grief Ministry

Together We Can Be Christ to Others!

Thank you to everyone that has made a gift to the Catholic Annual Appeal. To date, we have heard from 270 families and have received pledges of $135,000 towards our $172,000 required goal. We are $37,000 from making our minimum goal, after which all gifts will go to our Parish Project of improving our driveway Entrance and Exit. Adoration Invitation

Did You Know... Our Lord, who is made present on the altar at every Mass - is forever present in our chapel? Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Stephen's is close to becoming perpetual. Perpetual Adoration makes Jesus available to all, at all times - providing 24-hour access to Jesus for those who most need to feel His love. We need committed Adorers to come spend an hour (or more) with Jesus every week. We are now only 12 hours short of filling our schedule! Custodial Position Open

Custodian Lead Position at St. Stephen the Martyr 5 days a week, 36 hours, afternoons to evening work hours. Responsibilities include: Restroom cleaning & supplies; Vacuuming & Garbage/Recycle in our buildings; Event set up & take downs (tables & chairs); Inventory of supplies for cleaning & kitchen items; Work closely with fellow custodians, staff & parishioners; Security lockup of Campus. Pay will be based on work experience. Benefits are provided. Applicant should be supportive of the mission of the Church.

St. Stephen the Martyr "World’s Greatest Block Party"

All proceeds will go to the Terrific Tuesday Meal program and St. Stephen the Martyr Food Bank in order to feed the poor and homeless in our community. Join us in bringing our community together and helping our neighbors in need.

Church Closed Monday, June 20

Please note that Monday, June 20th is a Holiday, Juneteenth Day. Our building / church will be closed except for 1 hour before 6:30 PM Mass and 1 hour after Mass. Adoration schedule remains the same BUT entering by the side chapel door please. Thank you for your support of this time off and please keep our parish in your prayers.

Masaka News

Short term medical mission to Masaka, Uganda Parishioners Dr. Deborah Rodriguez (MD) and Loreen Bell Hernández are traveling on a short term

medical mission to visit Fr. Gerald and the medical clinic in his parish (pictured) The building of the clinic was financed by the parishioners of St Stephen's in 2016. They will travel August 3-15, 2022. In addition to assessing needs at the clinic and providing medical care, they will attend Masaka Ordinations on August 6th when Deacon Emmaual Kayonga will be ordained to the priesthood. For now they are asking for prayers and donations for medical supplies. If you feel called to donate, checks should have the notation of Masaka Medical Mission.

June Events for LIFE

June 1-30 - Prayer Partners stand vigil at the Cedar River Clinic, 263 Rainier Ave S, Renton. St. Stephen’s stands on the 1st Wednesday 9:30-10:30am along with St. John’s who stand every Wednesday. Prayer partners are also there Thursdays 9:30-Noon. Care Net Ultrasound Mobile unit is in Renton from 9:30am - 2:30pm every Thursday each month. Partners also stand every Friday 11:00am-Noon and most Saturdays 10:00am-11:00am.

Little Saints Preschool Registration Opens

Registration for Little Saints Preschool is underway! If you are interested in our Catholic preschool here at St. Stephens, contact Abbie Nelson at sstm.littlesaints@gmail.com. We have space in all sessions (MWF mornings 3-4 year olds, TTh mornings 3 year olds, M-Th afternoons 4 year olds) for Fall, 2022.
