Updates from the Parish
As of last weekend, the gifts will no longer be processed from the back of the church unless the requestor or a family member specifically requests it. If you would like to bring up the gifts, please see an usher before Mass begins.
The restroom in St. Matthew Church will only be available during Mass on the weekends.
Printed material, advertisements, charitable solicitations, votive candles and floral arrangements may not be placed in either St. Matthew Church or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church without permission of the Pastor. Any material found that does not have permission will be removed and discarded.
Second Collection This Weekend
The second collection this weekend is the monthly collection for maintenance and repairs. As a parish with seven buildings (two churches, two schools, two rectories and a convent), maintenance issues arise which may not be fully budgeted. Your contribution to this monthly collection helps keep the parish running. Thank you for your generosity!
The parish is looking to host a blood drive in the fall. We must guarantee a minimum number of donors before the drive can be scheduled. Please complete the poll below if you are interested.

2022 Cardinal's Annual Stewardship Appeal
The 2022 Cardinal's Appeal is ongoing! The goal this year for the parish is $59,500. As of today, we have reached 67.56% of our goal. We are now more than 3/5ths of the way there; please help us meet our goal!
The Church has been able to serve hundreds of thousands of people throughout the past two years of the pandemic due to your generosity. Whether that was someone seeking pregnancy support, a hot meal at a soup kitchen or respite at a shelter, your support makes it possible.

Scam Emails & Texts
Some parishioners have reported receiving texts/emails from someone claiming to be Father Crawford.
These messages may request the recipient to do a small favor such as purchase gift cards. Please know that these requests are not legitimate and should be deleted/ignored.
If you have any questions regarding whether a message from Fr. Crawford is legitimate, please do not hesitate to contact the rectory at 914-478-2822.
