THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD!
Last week, I expressed our need to restock our FREE PANTRY and at the end of mass, two parishioners handed me $100 each.
Wow!
At the end of my masses, I headed to the Dollar Store and stocked up on noodles, biscuits, breakfast cereals, toothbrushes, tooth paste, etc. As I was about to check out, a parishioner and I were talking about our pantry and what we do. Lo and behold, when it was my time to check out, a lady in line handed me $10 as she had overheard where my 3 cartloads were destined.
I smiled and thanked her and thought to myself, “Now, that is what you call a ‘random act of charity and kindness’”. That was what paid for the tooth brushes and a few boxes of tooth paste! Thank you, once again, for your generosity and kindness.

WE SAY “FAREWELL” TO THE SISTERS OF CHARITY!
It is with sadness that we say farewell to Sr. Consuelo, Sr. Jeanne and Sr. Claudia as they leave the convent.
After so many years of their precious presence here at Ss. Peter and Paul, their congregation has decided on this move.
Next Sunday, there will be a simple get together at Gramer Hall after masses so that parishioners may be able to personally express our thanks and best wishes to them. Please join us!

I’VE FOUND THAT IF I PRAY FOR GOD TO MOVE A MOUNTAIN,
I MUST BE PREPARED TO WAKE UP NEXT TO A SHOVEL!
