Parish Council nominations remain open this week.
The primary purpose of the Parish Council is to advise and assist the pastor and the pastoral team in planning for the parish. We focus on the “big-picture” issues that affect the parish as a whole. The Council also sets short-term and long-term goals for the parish community within the framework of the diocesan priorities for parishes.
This coming year it will be using the responses of the Survey to compose our next five-year Parish Pastoral Plan for 2022-2027. The Council evaluates the effectiveness of parish programs and services as they related to the seven essential elements of parish life: Evangelization, Worship, Faith Formation, Community, Service, Stewardship and Leadership.
This past year the Council met on the third Tuesdays of most months between September and June from 7:00-8:30pm. It is a three year term of service.
