Dear Friends,
Cameron Townsend, founder of Wycliffe Bible Translators said:
"We have advanced on our knees. Wycliffe has been built on prayer. True, there’s been a lot of action as a result of our prayers, but it’s been prayer that has solved the problems, strengthened the leadership, and brought the guidance and direction from our Leader. It’s been through prayer that God has raised up recruits and supplies and equipment when it seemed hopeless. And all we could do, as it were, was to march around Jericho on our knees—just around Jericho. And then finally, the walls fell and we marched in."
As we prepare to “march in” to our new roles in Cameroon, we are feeling the need for extra prayer. We know that many people pray as we send out these updates, but we also have a few people who have committed to praying for us more regularly and we’d love to have more. Would you consider picking one day of the week or one day of the month to pray for us while we are in Cameroon?
Thank you for “advancing with us on our knees”. We're definitely a bit overwhelmed, but God has clearly brought many pieces together to bring us to this point of departure. We're so thankful for you & we’d love to hear from you when you get a chance.
In Christ, Tony & Allison, Ezekiel (5), Lucas (4), Keziah (1)
