Hurrah for Life!
Roe has been overturned! Incredible!
Be aware that twenty seven pro-life and pregnancy centers have been firebombed or attacked since last month’s leaked Supreme Court draft opinion, and over a dozen Catholic churches have been targeted. The incidents have ranged from graffiti vandalizing to smashing windows and arson. There have been no arrests.
I'm glad they know that we are on the side of life and the defense of unborn children!
Statement from Bishop John Doerfler
and the Diocese of Marquette on the Dobbs decision and the overturning of Roe
Today, with great joy we give thanks to God for the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning the injustice of Roe v. Wade. Now state and federal officials once again have the ability to enact and uphold laws that protect the lives of pre-born children.
While we mourn the loss of the lives of so many pre-born children, we pray that every woman and man who has suffered from abortion will find healing, offering them our compassion and support.
We must also redouble our efforts to bring about healing to the divisions in our nation.
Let us renew our pledge to walk with moms in need, to support marriages and families, and to provide spiritual and physical support to those in need.

Phenomenal fundraiser last night. We raised $4000 plus!
Cleaning Bee
9am on Saturday! I'd really like to leave the parish clean and in great shape! Our part-time Maintenance Man, Sam, has been working a lot of hours and going above and beyond on many different projects, so we could really use a hand!
Find me when you arrive to get plugged in, or just come ready to help in one of the following ways! :D
Different projects we're hoping to get to:
-cleaning the siding and light fixture at the north entryway, and also at the entryway and around the ramp of the Faith Formation building
-pulling up weeds in the rock-beds around the parish grounds
-sweeping out and cleaning out the garage!
-cleaning the gutters!
-cleaning up the debris and clutter behind the dumpter enclosure and adjacent shed
-NOT cleaning the new Lezan on the Church windows! It's easily scratched!
-Cleaning the outside of the office and rectory windows and main entryways
-dissembling my large table and putting it in my family's trailer
-the work room in the basement of the faith formation building needs to be cleaned and organized!
-hoping to find someone to walk around with weed killer to take care of the weeds growing up in the crevices at the edges of the rectory driveway, and the pavers near Church entryways
-with the overturning of Roe I'm hoping we don't have any graffiti or desecration to deal with. A pro-abortion group called "Jane's Revenge" is calling for a night of rage tonight.
Moving Help:
Fr. Mark could use a hand on Wednesday Evening the 29th- hoping to move two large chairs, a coffee table and a small desk down some stairs. If you can give him a hand please reach out at frmarkmcquesten@gmail.com
