NEWS FROM THE STAFF: LIZZY TO START NEW ROLE AT CATHOLIC INSTITUTE
Dear friends,
I am excited to share with you that I will soon be starting a new position as Executive Director of COLLIS (Latin for "hill"), a brand new institute for Catholic thought and culture at Cornell—look out for more info later this summer!
I am enormously grateful for my experiences working for Cornell Catholic the last few years: Fr. Dan and before him, Fr. Carsten empowered me to turn my ideas into reality, encouraged me to integrate my academic research with liturgical and spiritual practice, and equipped me with a variety of professional experiences. Eileen shared with me a wealth of professional savvy, know-how, and good humor. Matthew has been an invaluable colleague through whose love of the Church and of the Faith I learn and grow daily. The Catholic community at Cornell has inspired me by its rich tapestry of individuals that together form the Body of Christ through their diverse talents, experiences, perspectives, and passions. I am grateful that I will not have to depart from this community to start my new position, even while I leave the Cornell Catholic staff; instead I can look forward to encountering this unique and beautiful community in new ways.
With immense gratitude,
Lizzy
