Camp Powell 2022- Dwell in Unity
We had a Spirit-filled week in our beloved Wrightwood. It was a joy to be together in person and there were many hugs. We had over 150 people total at camp, ranging in age from 4 months to “grandparents.”
There was some extra time for “dwelling in unity” on Wednesday when we had a thunder & lightning rain storm which forced everyone inside for an hour. It was a camp first! A few activities were interrupted and the power went out for a while, but for the most part, everyone did great. It will go down in camp lore as the year of the big storm.
Campfire was a highlight as the young adults prepared various skits, dances, and a lot of jokes each night. We laughed to tears several times.
The Friday morning prayer meeting was a powerful time and the testimonies were impactful on all the teens present. Thank you for your intercession and start praying for Camp Powell 2023!

I can help with decorating and setup. Yes, you can contact me with details.
I can open wine, plate bread, and receive and help with food/drink service.
I can help with cleanup: Clear tables, clean and put Lord's Day items away, put tables and chairs back, or, any of the above.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING
IT'S TIME TO RENEW!!!
STARTING JULY 1ST THROUGH AUGUST 31ST; IT'S TIME TO RENEW YOUR SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING (SET). If you serve at your parish, you will choose them as your primary location and they will pay for your background check. If you are not able to get certified through your parish, you can choose COTL as your location. The background check is $20. If that is a hardship email Jeff@Cityofthelord.org to request financial assistance

Someone left a black crockpot after the last Potluck Lord's Day on June 25th. You can find it in the Staging room which is located to the right of the Cenacle.
