Printed statements should be double-spaced. If you don’t have a computer or printer, you may write it out by hand, just make sure it’s clear and legible. Include your full name and contact phone number and submit it to Jay at the Parish Office or put it in an envelope and slip it in the office mail slot. Please label your submissions to “Mark Cotta Vaz/75th Anniversary History”. If you have any questions or need some encouragement or assistance on writing your story, contact Mark at 510-582-4832.

ANNIVERSARY EVENTS
We invite businesses and families to sponsor our 75th Anniversary Celebrations. All Sponsors will have their name or business printed on our banner which will be displayed at the events. Cost is $25 per Individual, $75 per Family, $100 per Small Business and $175 or more per Large Business. For more information, please email 75years@olgcv.org.

OUR HISTORY AT OUR LADY OF GRACE
75th Anniversary Memory
The leadership of Our Lady of Grace was transferred to the California Augustinians on July 1, 1980 with Rev. Vincent McGarvey, O.S.A. as pastor. In addition to the pastor and assistants, a chaplain for the hospitals arrived. Many new activities were added: RCIA for those interested in the Catholic Faith, Peace and Justice group for social issues, Youth Group for teens and the Parish Council which coordinates the various commissions such as communication, family life, ecumenical, liturgy, education evangelization administration and social action.
