Today we bid a fond farewell to Father Rommel Tolentino, who has been the Pastor of Immaculate Conception Cathedral for the past 8 years. May we always remember him in our prayers for all he has achieved among us, and may he continue to be blessed as he continues his ministry at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
And we welcome our new Pastor, Very Reverend Ruben Buller, VG. Father Buller is no stranger to our Cathedral parish having been a deacon at the Cathedral during the time of Father Guilbeau and serving for 12 years as Bishop Provost’s Master of Ceremonies. About five years ago he lived in residence at the Cathedral until leaving in 2020 two months before Hurricane Laura. In the words of Father Buller, "Most important to me, though, is that I was ordained a priest at the Cathedral in May of 2008. During these times, I came to know many of you and have worked with you as well. This helped to ensure that it was a homecoming for me." Please come and meet Father Buller in the Ave Maria Hall this weekend after all the Masses.
