Beginning Monday, July 4, the 12:10 pm daily Mass will be in the basement hall of the convent (known as the “rectory hall”) next door.

Access to the hall is through the door in the parking lot
as you enter our driveway. Unfortunately, there is no elevator; however there are only 5 steps. There is a Restroom available in the hall.

The church will be closed during the week
due to renovations.

Weekend Liturgies
will continue to be held in the Church.

Volunteers Needed, Monday Nights
from 5:30 to 7:30 pm to sell tickets at Bingo,
on an as-needed basis. Come and support our parish's biggest fundraiser.

CALLED TO BE A CATECHIST AT SJE-OLMC

Called To Be A Catechist / Assistant Catechist:

Our Religious Education Program is important to help our students to grow in their Christian Faith and to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Full participation in the program enables the students to receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The catechist is someone who loves the young people and wants to pass on the Good News. Catechists are a GIFT to our Parish.

Please, think about accompanying our children and young people on their faith journey. Classes are offered on Sundays at both Churches.

LLAMADO A SER CATEQUISTA EN SJE-OLMC

Llamado a Ser Catequista / Catequista Asistente:

Nuestro Programa de Educación Religiosa es importante para ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a crecer en su fe cristiana y profundizar su relación con Jesucristo.
La plena participación en el programa permite a los estudiantes recibir los
sacramentos de la Primera Comunión y la Confirmación. El catequista es
alguien que ama a los jóvenes y quiere transmitir la Buena Noticia. Los catequistas
son un REGALO para nuestra Parroquia. Por favor, piensen en acompañar a nuestros niños y jóvenes en su camino de fe. Las clases se ofrecen los domingos en ambas iglesias. Si está interesado, no dude en comunicarse con la Rectoría (914-949-0439).

St. John the Evangelist - Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish

When: September 18, 2022 at 11:00 am

Where: Prayer Garden at St. John the Evangelist

Why: To honor the unity-in-diversity of our parish
community as a new season begins

How: By celebrating a multilingual and multicultural
Eucharist together as one parish community
followed by the sharing of cultural foods and music with one another.

What: To make this celebration a success, we need volunteers from St. John the Evangelist and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
