Happy Friday afternoon! Attached is our bulletin for this Sunday, July 17th, the Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, and a reflection from Fr. Canisius. This weekend we add a new member to our family of faith as we celebrate the baptism of Egypt Alleyne. We offer our prayers for Egypt and her family and send them our congratulations.

July is our month to provide casseroles for the guests at Our Daily Bread. Pans with recipe are available in the church vestibule. Store-bought lasagna or macaroni and cheese casseroles are also accepted. Please deliver your frozen casserole to the parish office by this coming Wednesday, July 20th. Sadly, hunger does not take a summer vacation--help us share God's love by sharing a casserole with our neighbors.
Our friends in the St. Gabriel Hispanic Community invite everyone to join them on the Solemnity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel tomorrow (Saturday, 7/16) at 10:00am in the church for Mass and procession. The church is located at 6950 Dogwood Rd., Windsor Mill, 21244.
Even though the Mass will be in Spanish only,
everyone is welcome to be part of this beautiful celebration!!!

A Fresh Way to Support our Food Pantry
Nothing brightens a room more than fresh flowers. And this month you can pick up a bouquet and support our food pantry at the same time!
We’re excited to share that the St. Charles Food Pantry has been selected to be a part of the Bloomin' 4 Good Program, created to fight hunger in local communities. (For more information about this program, visit giantfood.bloomin4good.com)
For the month of July, each time a Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with a purple hanging tag is purchased at the Pikesville Giant on Old Court Road, $1 will be donated to our food pantry.
The more bouquets sold, the more money donated, and the more people we can feed! So ask your friends, relatives, and neighbors to help our food pantry by making their floral purchases at our Giant. Just look for the purple tag, and help us help our neighbors in need!

We comply with Maryland laws requiring reporting suspected child abuse to civil authorities. Under Maryland law any person who has reason to believe a child has been subjected to abuse must report the suspected abuse to civil authorities (local law enforcement or the local Department of Social Services Child Protective Services), even if the potential victim is now over 18 years old and even in cases where the alleged perpetrator is deceased.
