Thank you to all of our parishioners and hundreds of others who came from around the AOD and packed the Social Hall at our
Rising Up After Roe event. For those who missed it, the recording is on our
YouTube channel and
Facebook page. Please watch and share! God bless our panelists who spoke so eloquently and directly on this topic in order to educate, inform and activate us to
vote NO on Proposal 3 in November. For more information about the abortion amendment, I urge you to visit

Theology of The Body
True Love
“If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:3
True love that is free is not controlled or manipulated by another person or by a disordered desire. There is no coercion or strings attached. True love that is total is without conditions, holding nothing back. It is a complete self-donation to the other. True love that is faithful is committed to keeping its promises. True love that is fruitful is open to life because it is free, total, and faithful. True love is naturally ordered toward procreation and is lifegiving in the spiritual and emotional realm.
To subtract any one of these aspects of love (free, total, faithful, fruitful) is like removing a supporting leg from a chair. It fails. I fall. Any desire towards another person that is lacking any one of these aspects of love is lust rather than love. The moment I act on a God-given desire in a way that is separated from God’s love, that desire has become disordered. I fail to love. I fall.
Ask the Lord for an outpouring of His true love in your life so all of your desires may be ordered toward truth, goodness, and beauty for His glory and the salvation of souls.
In Christ,
Anthony Feola
