Parish Needs
Donations Needed for OLL Youth Service Week
Items will be collected after all masses starting July 30th and 31st and the following weekend, August 6th and 7th. What we need: birthday party supplies, new socks and undies (infant to adult), laundry basket, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper towels, kitchen towels, dishcloths, sponge, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss. We will put together kits for different Catholic charities. Thank you for your help!
St. Vincent de Paul in Dire Need and Will Shut Down Without New President and Volunteers From OLL
St. Vincent de Paul needs a volunteer to lead as President (as the current president must step down) and more volunteers (due to an increase of people in need). Vincent de Paul helps people in of short-term financial help.The role of president begins on October 1. Without a President/leader, they cannot continue. If you know of anyone who may be called to serve and whose leadership and organizational skills could be a great fit for leading SVdP please email the contact below

All Italian Shrines Pilgrimage Announced!
July 10 - 23, 2023. Father Pat will lead this pilgrimage. Take in Rome (with its iconic sites, fountains, and four Major Basilicas), and attend the Papal Audience with the Holy Father. Walk in the footsteps of St. Padre Pio and St. Francis of Assisi. Not to mention time to view the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano. From Assisi, you will make your way to Florence - recognized as the "Cradle of the Renaissance". Visit the marvelous Churches, buildings, and museums that make it so unique, as well as the historical relics and artistic masterpieces by the greatest masters! And to finish with Venice - the "City Paved in Water", famous for its Basilica, palazzi, ancient bridges, monuments, and piazza's!

Children's Faith Formation Registration Open Now
CFF for 2022-2023 is now open for preschool through rising fifth grade students. We are also always looking for volunteers to help teach!
Confirmation Changes in Diocese
We will be moving the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation to the 10th grade
effective with registration for the 2022-2023 formation year. Confirmation I
Preparation will begin in the 9th grade and Confirmation II will be completed in
the 10th grade. Even though many of your children have come from or are currently attending a Catholic school, Confirmation preparation is moving in a direction that is distinct from the academic study of theology that takes place at school. Registration forms and more information can be found on our website.

Mission Possible
Service summer camp! A week of service for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. August 8th- August 12th 7:45 AM - 1PM. All students will start the day with Mass and then go out to different service opportunities. $60 per child, and we are seeking adult leaders to help!

(RCIA) Rite Of Christian Initiation for Adults
Tuesday 8/16 6:30 pm and Sunday 8/21 10:15 am in the Parish Office Conference Room. (RCIA) is a spiritual and educational formation process to assist and support adults as they become full members of the Catholic Church. The RCIA Team welcomes all interested or thinking about becoming Catholic to come and seek. This is for adults who have never been baptized, dults who were baptized in another Christian tradition, AND Baptized Catholics who want to deepen their understanding of their faith.

The OLL Iron Sharpens Iron Ministry
August 18th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Fallon Center Lounge. Fellowship and snacks to follow the video/discussion. The group meets the third Wednesday of every month, let the contact person know if you need a ride. The group is watching the DVD Series from Fr. Dave Pivonka, “Metanoia”. The Wild Goose website describes the series as follows: “… explores areas of life where conversion is so often necessary.”

The Choice Wine Marriage Workshop
9 week HYBRID program. The 1st session in person at the Fallon Center on Friday, September 9 at 6:30 PM. After which, we will break out into small groups who will either meet at the Fallon Center Lounge (for the succeeding 8 weeks) or from the comfort of their homes. On the last day of the program, November 11, the groups will meet again as a big group for another session at the Fallon Center, culminating with a Renewal of Vows to be officiated by Father Pat. (Choice Wine Program was developed by Paradisus Dei, the makers of That Man is You.) No registration necessary, men can just show up.

Holy Face Devotion
First meeting Tuesday, September 13 at 6:15 Fallon Center Lounge, and weekly thereafter, same time and place. Please join fellow parishioners in the Fallon Center Lounge each Tuesday evening promptly at 6:15 to pray for 30 minutes the Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. This devotion, which was approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1885, was a favorite of St. Therese of Lisieux and her family. The devotion was established by Our Lord in a series of revelations to a Carmelite nun in Tours, France.
