Greetings Brothers and Sisters of St. Rose of Lima Parish,
Time flies, and the time is going like crazy. I am in Eugene right now, and you can hear there is a lot of noise because it's not as calm here as that area of Portland, but let's talk about time. Time is a precious thing; it is so precious that we cannot even buy it. I know we are in an area that we can buy pretty much everything, but time is not one of those things. Thinking about it let's take a moment and not just appreciate time, but let's try to use it as best as we can. Let's try not to waste time; how can we use our time wisely? Well for one, we can pray, and we can be closer to our Creator, closer to God, in that way we are one with him, and we are using that time in the best way possible. For this weekend, let's try to make our time the best as possible. We have our families and the best that we can do with our family, is ask for forgiveness. Let's use that time for reconciliation, let's use that time for love instead of fighting. Instead of having issues with people, let's use the time wisely to evangelize with our example, not only with our words but by our example. So, in this weekend I'll challenge you not to waste time.
Thank you so much it's been a pleasure and honor, it's being great to be in the parish and hopefully, I'll see you soon.
