Our Annual Fall Festival (Sept. 24) NEEDS YOU!
This event is not only critical to the financial support of our parish, it is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with your parish family and enjoy some food, fun and fellowship. This year's plans include a cornhole tournament, karaoke, and you may even get to DUNK a priest or staff member! If you'd like to help with any of the activities, please attend our next planning meeting TONIGHT, August 3, at 7:00 PM.
Our nursery is now open at the
9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM Masses
for children ages 1-5 years old.
- No reservations will be required but space is limited.
- Please use the playground entrance for access.
The nursery is also in need of safe environment cleared adult volunteers, 21 years and older, so we can open more fully this fall for weekday & evening ministry.

CHANGE IN MASS TIME!
Beginning Sun., Aug. 7, the early Mass will move from 7:00 AM to its
new time of 7:30 AM.
Parish Offices will be closed on Monday, August 15, in observance of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Masses will be celebrated at 8:30 AM (English) and 6:30 PM (Spanish).

Pentecost 2024 will be our 50th Parish Anniversary!
On Tuesday, August 16 at 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we will have a Kick-off meeting to begin formal planning for our anniversary celebration: subcommittees will be formed, meeting schedules developed by members, and initial tasks discussed and agreed upon. All are welcome and encouraged to be part of this project.

Backpack Blessing and Ice Cream Social
Bring your school backpack to any of the Masses the weekend of August 6/7 for a special back to school blessing! On Sunday, August 7, from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., join us in the dining room for special cool treat to start the new school year off right. While you’re there, if you haven’t already done so, we’ll also be conducting on-site registration for this year’s Faith Formation and sacramental preparation.
Registration for Sacrament Prep classes for eligible students must be done in the parish office. Eligibility requirements include the student's age (must be in at least 2nd grade for First Communion and 8th grade for Confirmation) AND successful completion of Children's Faith Formation or Youth Ministry during 2021-22.
Bring your child's baptism record when registering for Sac Prep (if baptism was not at Holy Spirit).

Nuestra parroquia celebrará su 50 Aniversario en junio del 2024. Necesitamos prepararnos para este alegre evento.
El martes 16 de agosto, de 7:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., tendremos la reunión inicial: en esta reunión se formarán los subcomités, y los integrantes de cada subcomité elaborarán sus propios horarios para las reuniones, además se discutirán y acordarán las tareas iniciales. Todos son bienvenidos a ser parte de este proyecto.

Bendición de mochila y fiesta de helados
¡Traiga su mochila escolar a cualquiera de las Misas el fin de semana del 6/7 de agosto para una bendición especial de regreso a la escuela! El domingo 7 de agosto, de 8 AM a 2:30 PM, únase a nosotros en el comedor para disfrutar de un refrigerio especial para comenzar bien el nuevo año escolar. También llevaremos a cabo el registro en el sitio para la formación de fe y la preparación sacramental de este año.
La inscripción para las clases de preparación sacramental para estudiantes elegibles debe hacerse en la oficina parroquial. Los requisitos de elegibilidad incluyen la edad del estudiante (debe estar en al menos el segundo grado para la Primera Comunión y el octavo grado para la Confirmación) Y la finalización exitosa de la Formación en la Fe de los Niños o el Ministerio Juvenil durante 2021-22.
