Giris Azize has been a parishioner at St. Mary's Church for the past 21 years. It is with great joy that we announce he will be leaving August 22nd to begin his formation to the priesthood. He will be attending Pope St. John the XXIII National Seminary in Weston, MA, a seminary designed specifically for later vocations. It should take four years to complete his formation and then he will become a priest in the Boston Diocese.
Giris was born in Puerto Rico, but moved to the US when he was a college student. He is the father of four children: Christian, Jonathan, Francesca, and Isabelle all in their twenties. He also has four children who have already gone to heaven. He has worked in the medical device field for the past three decades. He also has his own photography business, Immaculate Photo.
