Day Pilgrimage: Mary – Our Mother and Model
Date: Saturday, August 13, 2022
Time: Depart St. John the Evangelist at 9:00 AM; Return by 5:00 PM

We’ll caravan to the shrine (contact Michelle at mschmid@sj.org by 8/10 if you need a ride) for a day of prayer, reflection, and fellowship. When we arrive, we’ll have time to explore, pray, and attend 12:15 PM Mass with the option to go to Confession beforehand. Following Mass, we’ll have lunch along with fellowship. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring money for lunch or pack your lunch. Please sign up by Wednesday, August 10th.
Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon Hiking Trip
Tentative Dates: Thursday, May 25th-Tuesday May 30th 2023 (Memorial Day weekend)
Approximate cost: $1,000/person

Faith & Sports Night

Our next Faith and Sports Night is Next Thursday, August 4th at the Pax Christi Youth Center.
Join us for socializing, sports, and a testimony given by one of our local young adults. This is a great event for people of all skill levels, even for those who just want to come and be spectators!

2nd Annual Young Adult Singles Night
Join us for a 2nd Annual Young Adult Singles Night hosted at St James Coffee on August 13th at 6pm
The night will include mingling with snacks, trivia/jeopardy, and fun get-to-know-me games There will also be prizes and goodie bags handed out!

We pray in front of the Government Center at the corner of 4th Street SE and 3rd Ave. SE. Bring your families and friends and spread the word! If unable to join us physically, consider joining spiritually by praying a Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet from anywhere.
