A special "Thank You" to our amazing volunteers that assisted with distributing textbooks, school supplies and bulk supplies last week. It was amazing to see our familiar faces and to meet some new volunteers!!!

C.A.R.E. Committee
C.A.R.E. Committee has begun working on spoiling our amazing 2022-23 staff and teachers. Our new staff will receive a welcoming gift for New Staff In-Service.
All staff are gifted a special something from our C.A.R.E. team during In-Service Week. Throughout In-Service Week, Starbucks drinks and breakfast tacos are just a couple ways we are treating our teachers as they start back-to-school!
Crusaders Acknowledging Rockstar Employees Committee was created to give our staff special treats and celebrate them in different ways throughout the year. Funds are raised from our C.A.R.E. fundraisers and donations.
We are excited to have Kathy Morales, Lee Ann Dees and Alma Mancuso returning to head our C.A.R.E. Committee.
Thank you Kinsey Solleder, Used Uniform Committee Lead, for another great Used Uniform Sale! Kinsey and some of our wonderful volunteers have been busy sorting, tagging, organizing and running this event. We know how much our CtRCS Community appreciates all that this committee does to make this such a successful event!

Laminating Committee
We are including the laminating schedule for August and September. Depending on the month and the teacher needs we have created a signup that will provide a variety of dates and times. Occasionally, there will be other tasks such as birthday pencils or shredding for committee members.

The Box Tops program has gone digital! Download the app to get started. We had a record-breaking Box Tops year in 2021-2022. Let's see if we can beat that record this year!

Community Coffee Cash for Schools
If you drink Community Coffee, save those proofs of purchase! We earn 10 cents for every physical proof of purchase. You can send them to school with your student any time.

FORMS
All volunteers must be current in their CMG Safe Environment Training, have a signed Crusader Volunteer Code of Conduct and a signed Volunteer Non-Disclosure form on file.
Volunteers can email a training certificate and signed documents to volunteers@ctrschool.com. These items are mandatory in order to volunteer on campus.
- ALL volunteers must be current in CMG Safe Environment Training
- CMG Connect online training has replaced VIRTUS training.
This training is available in English and Spanish. Safe Environment training is online only.- All new employees and volunteers must complete the CMG Connect online training program that is specifically for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
- Those who are currently VIRTUS certified in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston do not need to complete the training until just before their five-year anniversary date.
- Every five years, employees and volunteers must renew their training.
- You will be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the registration process.
- Please be sure to choose Safe Environment Training - Mandatory for all employees and volunteers which includes a background check. Do not select the Non-Archdiocesan option.
- To begin or renew your training go to CMG Connect.
- New to training? Create an account by completing all the boxes under “Register for a New Account.” Please do not create a new account if you completed VIRTUS in the past 5 years - you will already have an account in the system.
- Previous VIRTUS training (within the past 5 years)? Click the green “Sign In Here” button in the upper right corner of the page and use your VIRTUS username and password: 1234. You will be prompted to update to a more secure password. Once signed in, you can update your account information from the “Edit Profile” tab. If you do not remember your user id, please contact cmgconnect@catholicmutual.org or call the Catholic Mutual Group direct customer support line at (833) 993-1667.

Aug. 15 - New Family Orientation, 6:30 p.m.
Aug. 16 - Meet the Teacher/Popsicle Party, 10:30-11:55 a.m.
Students whose last names begin with A-L will have Meet the Teacher from 10:30-11:10. Students whose last names begin with the M-Z will have Meet the Teacher from 11:15-11:55. After you've met your teacher, please join us in the circle driveway in front of the Parish Hall for a popsicle party.
Aug. 17 - First Day of School, Noon Dismissal
Aug. 26 - Back to School Bash, 5-7:30 p.m. in the parking lot
