Dear Friends,
A special welcome to our new parish secretary Jennifer Morgan! She has hit the ground running and there is so much to learn and get to know. The most important thing to know is – you! Please feel free to drop by or give a call and introduce yourself because far more important than knowing safe combinations, the ministry pro parish database, and where the paper towels are stored; is getting to know you, the parishioners. This is why we are all here on staff: to serve you and help you any way we can. Of course, the greatest way we can ever assist anyone is to help them to know and love Jesus. Let us all as a pastorate continue to pray for each other and get to know each other as together we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
One benefit of hiring a new person is it gives us a chance to see with fresh eyes all the different ways we do things around here. I think over the next few months or so you might see some changes in everything from our bulletin to our Flocknote. We are also going to take some time at staff to look over all the many policies and procedures we have in place from everything to scheduling a baptism to hall rentals. We will keep you informed of any changes. Thank you so much, each of you are the true treasure of our pastorate!

We have many openings for Mass intentions!
Have a Mass offered for a friend or loved one, deceased or living. A customary donation of $5 is requested for each Mass, payable by cash or check. Please contact the Parish office to request a Mass! Please note that Mass intentions come on a first-come, first-served basis.
Effective Monday, August 1st, the Parish office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The office will be closed daily from 12:30 to 1 PM for lunch.
Are you someone or do you know someone who
- Has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic?
- Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not become a full member of the Church through the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist?
- Baptized into another religion but never received any formal religious education.
At Saint Matthew, we offer an opportunity to come together in person to learn more about our faith journey. The sessions focus on the experience and teachings of the Church, personal prayer, and deepening our personal relationship with the Lord. This process is called The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A). I look forward to hearing from you soon. Don’t delay! Call Sr. Andre at 850-207-4679.
