THE BATTLE RAGES ON!
There are times when we feel that God has been “harsh” with us. This happens when we are faced with sickness, failure, death, etc. The question that mostly comes to mind is that, “How can a loving God allow such things to happen?” Well, He really doesn’t want “these things” to happen to us.
The problem is that we have set ourselves toward a different direction from where He wants us to be – because of our stubborn nature.
Some people question why in one seemingly “perfect” family, someone has gone toward a very sad direction. Well, it is because that person has decided to take a different course in life and, now, suffers the consequences of his choices. Is this God’s doing? Certainly not!
On judgment day, we will all have to face God and render an account for our behavior – and it will be a very personal one.
Therefore, let us realize the value of paying close attention to Jesus – with what He says, with what He asks us to do, and to go where He leads us.

SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL OPENING!
It was truly wonderful to see and hear our students back at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School.
I had immense joy in feeling everyone’s excitement on Friday of last week when the Kindergartners and their parents gathered at Grammer Hall before proceeding to their newly renovated classrooms.
As usual, I think the parents were more excited than their children!
