Dear IHM Parishioners and Friends of the Parish,
Church Remodeling Progressing: Our remodeling project is moving along, although no single aspect is completely finished yet. We are hoping to be back in the church for Mass on Labor Day weekend, or the following weekend at the latest. For pictures of the work being done, visit our Capital Campaign webpage and scroll down to the photo gallery:

Pew Sale: The original pews are available for purchase. A woodworker can cut them to the desired size. For more information, please visit
http://pews.ihmrcc.org.
Save the Dates! Our 75th Anniversary Committee is planning two celebrations this Fall: A spaghetti dinner and potluck after the 4 pm Mass on October 15, and Mass with Cardinal Gregory at 4 pm on November 12 for the dedication of the new altar (and possibly the dedication of the whole church building... it's a longish story that I'll explain later for those interested). After that Mass there will be a reception and toast (and maybe a little celebration the Cardinal's 75th birthday as well).

Prayers for Fr. Dan Gallaugher This Sunday evening, our former parochial vicar Fr. Dan Gallaugher begins his SOLT (Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity) novitiate year. You can keep up with him by reading the monthly letter he will be posting on his blog; his August letter is already up! You can also find his mailing address there.

God bless,
Fr. Marco
