OKTOBERFEST KICK-OFF WEEKEND

Time to start planning how you can be a part of our big community event on Sept. 24, when we host the 22nd annual Oktoberfest. Stop by the tables after Mass to find out about raffle tickets, discount wristbands for kids, 5K and kids' runs, helping at the event, donating items or being a sponsor! We need you to make this a success!

In honor of St. Teresa of Calcutta’s feast day on September 5, come enjoy some quiet time in adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, as she did, praying for peace in our world, our country and our own families and lives.

If you plan on coming between 6 p.m. and 7a.m., please call the parish office ahead of time 618-632-3562 to get the keypad code to enter through the Mary Shrine door.

Ever wonder: "Why don't people in poverty just get a job?", "What are some common hurdles that people in poverty face?", or "What are some practical tools for alleviating poverty in my community?"

If so, then join us for an 8-week Just Faith series entitled "Faith and Poverty: A Solidarity Response". Meetings are every Tuesday at 7pm, starting Sept. 20th.

Fall Day of Prayer

St. Clare Parish will host the Metro-East Vicariate Fall Day of Prayer
Thursday, September 15 | 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All women from area parishes are invited. Fr. Jim will speak on “The Eucharist: What Are We Praying During the Mass?” Plus Eucharistic Adoration with Guided Meditation, Benediction, church tour and more. RSVP by Sept. 1st.

St. Clare School Masses

St. Clare School is pleased to invite parishioners and parents to celebrate Mass with us. We do ask that when coming to school to celebrate Mass, that you check-in at the school office. Mass time is 8:30 a.m. and will be held in the school gym until further notice: September 1, 8, 15, 20 and 29.
