Fr. Diego’s name, among the names of other priests and even the Bishop of Worcester, is being used to attempt to steal gift cards, money from financial accounts, and other fraudulent measures to fool parishioners by using priests' names as a way of getting us to respond to the communication. 

You can check the email address to see if it came from St. Luke's parish. (St. Luke's emails end with @stlukes-parish.org.) However, please be aware that sometimes an email can look valid, even if it is fake. If you receive any form of communication that looks fishy and odd, we recommend that you delete it immediately.

Never, under any circumstances, respond to these tactics that seek to steal finances. These scams are directed mostly at elderly people, but are not limited to the elderly by any means.

Remember, don’t respond and DELETE IT!!
