Hello Everyone!
I hope that everyone is enjoying their last few weeks of summer and that you all are excited for a new year of Faith Formation! Registration for religious education at St. Peter the Fisherman is available for ALL grades online NOW! To register your family, please fill out the registration packet and return it to the church office as soon as possible! Click

Though Deacon Tom & I are dedicated to serving your families and teaching your students our beautiful faith, we cannot do this alone! Our program is still short on catechists and we need YOUR help! We need people (like YOU) to help lead small group discussions and activities for both our Middle and High School program! This is a time commitment of about 2-3 hours per week, including the session itself and roughly an hour of preparation. All materials WILL be provided for you - all you have to do is go through the content prior to class and come with an open mind and heart ready to share it with our young people!
Before you say that you aren't "catechist material," think again! As parents, you are your child's first catechist and the primary person who they will learn the faith from! When you baptized your child, you made the commitment to raise them in the faith, and what better way to model this promise than to be a catechist! Also, if you commit to this ministry for the entire year, your family's registration fee will be waived.
We NEED good, faithful people to rise to this new opportunity in order to offer our students the best religious education experience possible! If we do not receive enough full-time volunteers, I will require EVERY parent to sign up to help out with 2-3 sessions per year.
If you are interested, please email me at lizzyn@spfcp.org or call me at (920) 793-4531!
I would love to get you more information and talk about what being a catechist entails here at St. Peter the Fisherman! Please, PLEASE pray about saying yes to this ministry and leading our young people closer to Christ! You are asking your student to learn about their faith and build a relationship with God. It is important that you show them that you are right there with them, guiding them through their journey.
Blessings,
Lizzy Novak
