The 2022-23 school year has begun at the WWCS! There are still a few important "back to school" events coming up this week, and we are looking forward to seeing our families at those. Find the details about the events below.

Security Presentation Tonight
August 25, 6:30-7:30 PM | Assumption Parish Hall
Peter Crabbe from Chameleon Associates is returning to give a presentation for all parents regarding our school safety and security. The presentation will include details about the security program here at the WWCS, as well as future plans to improve security at our schools. The event will be held tonight in the Assumption Parish Hall from 6:30-7:30 PM.
Help is Still Needed at the WWCS Fair Booth!
Thank you so much to those who have already signed up to volunteer at the Catholic Schools Fair Booth this year! We have a good number of slots filled, but we still need several cashiers, salad makers, and grill masters! If you are able and willing to help us out in these areas, we would be thrilled to have you!
Cash Register/Order Takers are key positions for us, but they require no prior experience! You’ll be trained on-site with ongoing organizer support throughout the day!

WWCS Family Social
Friday, August 26, 6:00-9:00 PM | DeSales and Memorial Pool
All of our families are invited to join us for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship at the Back to School Family Social! Bring your own chairs or picnic blanket for your family, and food will be provided. Memorial Pool will be opened for all families, and a game night social for students 8-12 will be going on as well! We hope to see you there!
Assumption Back to School Night
Tuesday, August 30, 6:30-7:45 PM
Assumption families: you are invited to the Assumption Back to School Night! We will start by meeting in the Assumption gym at 6:30 PM for general information presented by Mr. Lesko. Then we will move to your child’s classroom where the teacher will present school information for the year. We will switch classrooms and presentations to allow families who have more than one child to attend another classroom. If you have more than two children at Assumption, please contact any teacher you may have missed and we can follow up to provide you with the necessary information. Please note that this is a parent-only event.
Kindergarten Parents: The Kindergarten Back to School Night will take place on Tuesday, September 6. Mrs. Acock will have more information about this event soon.
