Friends:
The first week of September is always a bit of a whirlwind for most folks...Parents and grandparents making plans for school and more, college kids getting back to the swing of things, commuters dealing with bus traffic again, and parishes usually picking up steam again after a summer slowdown. As we gear up....here are four things that will make your September a breeze at St. Chris/Good Shepherd.
1. CCD starts this week up at St. Christopher's School building but most importantly Mass attendance will be the main priority. Weekends...not Wednesday or Thursdays will be the focus....Mass attendance cards to be given out at class this week.
2. Weekend Mass times are as follows
Red Hook - 530pm (Saturday) 745, 945 & 1145am (Sunday) St Chris
Rhinecliff - 4pm Saturdays @ St Joseph's 28 Loftus Street
Rhinebeck - 830am and 1030am @ Good Shepherd
3. Come at least 10 minutes early....since the pandemic destroyed Mass attendance for most of 2020-2021 many people knew that they could roll in and get parking and a seat. Thankfully that is not the case any more...like everywhere else you'll prob have to search for a spot...but that's good news!
We can't wait for this year to finally turn the corner on the 'rona and get back on track to Him....
Blessings always...
