Music Ministries
We are very excited to begin another Choir season! Those who are high school age or older are invited to sing in the adult choir, typically at 10:00 Mass on most Sundays. Those highschoolers who join the choir and show a particular level of skill and commitment may also be able to lead us in singing on their own at times! This is a great opportunity to expand the level of participation of adults and teens alike!
Handbell choir: Those who can read music (have experience playing an instrument, for example), might consider ringing handbells from time to time. We currently have two octaves of handbells and would need 7-8 ringers. Handbells are a beautiful, unique, and fun way to enhance the music at liturgies. Participation age begins at 7th grade. Depending on interest, we can even have a group for adults and a group for middle/high school.
Children’s Choir: The parish Children’s Choir is for those in the 2nd grade or older. We typically sing once a month or so, always at Christmas Eve (4:00 PM Mass), and for Easter Sunday (10:00 AM Mass).

In order to be eligible to volunteer or work in the parish or school, it is mandatory that you complete the Diocesan Safe Environment Process.

Help support the STL Students and the R4CE for Education!
The Amazing Race for Catholic Education (R4CE) will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and our goal is to raise $105,000! Each student will walk or run the one-mile race in support of their school. Students send letters and emails to family and friends asking to be sponsored for the R4CE. The money raised helps our school meet its overall fundraising requirement of over $266,000. This event has raised over $1,433,941 since its inception 20 years ago. Please consider making a donation or sponsoring a student by purchasing a R4CE sign that they will be given to cheer them on. Donations can be made on our school website stlouiseschoolpa.org by clicking on the “DONATE TO THE R4CE FOR EDUCATION".

Help Wanted
Full Time and Part Time Custodian Positions
Full time custodian is needed at Saint Louise de Marillac School. Duties include but not limited to school cleaning, parish and school event set ups and teardown, grounds garbage collection and sidewalk snow removal. Position is 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm with benefits.
Part time custodian for Saint Catherine Labouré Parish(Saint Louise de Marillac Church site and Saint Joan of Arc Church site), on an as-needed basis, fill-in and snow removal.
