God of love we place in your loving arms the thousands of innocent lives that were lost on that unforgettable morning of September 11, 2001. We also remember the courage of the countless men and women who put their lives at risk in order to rescue, alleviate, and bring solace to the afflicted. Help us to continue to work for a world free from every form of hatred, violence, and ignorance. May terrorism—in all its forms—disappear from the face of the earth. Amen.

Volunteer Catechists Needed
We are still in need of catechists to
teach our children! Help form the faith of the next generation and enrich your own faith. No lesson planning is required, and lessons are easy to teach. Classes are small, usually less than 5 students. Our Traditional Choir is back!
Come one, come all...use your voice to glorify God! The Traditional Choir will resume next Saturday, September 17th. We will meet at 3:00pm and sing for the 4:00pm mass. Choir meets and sings every Saturday. Please note, in order to include those who would like to sing, but are challenged by the stairs, the choir will sing from below every second Saturday of the month. If you are new to the choir, contact Homeretta Ayala via email: hayala9022@aol.com or text 410-905-5264 or simply show up for the first rehearsal.

On Sunday, September 11th, after all masses, St. Gabriel Church will have representatives from MedStar Harbor Hospital on their campus to explain the free services they offer to the community. These services include: breast and cervical screening; pap test for women 21 to 39 years old; mammograms and pap test for women 40 and older; and colonoscopy for men and women 45 and older. These services are offered to those who do not have health insurance or are underinsured. Representatives will be in the St. Gabriel Community Center (6950 Dogwood Rd., Windsor Mill, 21244) after all their masses.
