Dear Holy Rosary Rosenberg family,
It is with much gratitude and excitement that we prepare for the re-opening of our beautiful and historic house of worship. We know that you are anticipating the moment as well, so we have planned an “Opening Week” for the Church and wish to lay out the details for you.
On Sunday, October 16th at 10:00am, we will have a Mass of Rededication. All other Masses will be held at St. Wenceslaus that weekend as we focus our efforts on preparing the Church for the re-opening and rededication. With limited seating capacity in the Church, our plan is to have overflow seating available in the school gym along with a live feed of the Mass and distribution of Holy Communion. We also plan to livestream the Mass of Rededication on our Facebook feed. Please know that we are doing everything possible to accommodate those who wish to be on the campus for the rededication.
Following the Mass of Rededication, we will have the Church open for parishioners and guests to walk through and take in the beauty of the restoration and renovation. Parishioners and guests will also be invited to the Parish Hall for light bites and beverages as we continue in our celebration of thanksgiving.
We will celebrate two daily Masses in the Church that week as well. On Tuesday, October 18th, we will honor our patroness, the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. Eucharistic Adoration will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the Rosary, and then Mass at 6:30pm. Everyone is invited to participate in the procession (which will gather outside of the front entrance to the Church) prior to Mass. Please bring flowers, if you are able, to place at the statue of our Blessed Mother. And, on Friday, October 21st, we will again celebrate Daily Mass in the Church at 12:10pm (with the Rosary at 11:40am). All other daily Masses (Monday and Wednesday) will be celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Chapel in Marian Hall.
October 22nd and 23rd will be our official "Opening Weekend” for the Church. The Mass schedule will return to normal and all Holy Rosary weekend Masses will be celebrated in the Church from that point forward. We invite EVERYONE to “come home” and gather again in our beautiful sanctuary as one family.
