1. (9/19) Galatians Bible Study
St. Tom’s Faith Formation interns invite all student and resident parishioners to join our Ascension Press Bible study covering St. Paul’s Epistle to the Galatians. This study is 8 weeks and will start the week of September 19th. There will be times offered: Monday’s from 6:00 – 7:00pm in the Siena Rooms and Wednesday’s from 7:00 – 8:00am on Zoom. The cost is $30.00 for a workbook and year-long access to the videos. Please contact john@boilercatholics.org to register.

3. (9/27) Knights of Columbus: Into the Breach
Calling all Men! It is time to step Into the Breach!
Are you looking to grow in faith? Are you seeking a brotherhood that will last a lifetime? Do you want to be the best man you can be? Then come join the Knights of Columbus as we begin our Into the Breach video series at 6pm in room 3. Into the Breach seeks to answer the tough questions of what it means to be a man and how to live as a man in today's society. This series covers topics regarding masculinity, family, prayer, and much more. Come join us and be ready to enjoy food, fellowship, and conversation as we step into the Breach.
4. (9/27) Praise and Worship Night
Everyone is welcome to join a group doing praise and worship in room 2 at 8:30pm.
5. (9/21, 9/28) Wednesday Night Mass
Bring a friend and join fellow students for Mass at 9pm every Wednesday. We hope you can make it! Chant choir will be singing for every fourth Wednesday of the month. Also, we will serve hot chocolate or ice cream after Mass!
6. (9/22, 9/29) Boiler Catholic Women
All ladies attending Purdue are invited to Room 4 at St. Tom's at 8PM every Thursday to foster strong relationships with other Catholic women and with God, to strive toward authentic femininity together, and to grow in faith! The First meeting will be on Sept. 8!

All men attending Purdue, you're invited! Every Thursday at 8PM downstairs in the Siena Rooms, Men in any stage of faith come together for some healthy competition, community service, devoting time to the Bible, and much more
8. (9/23, 9/30) Exalt -- Adoration/Praise and Worship
Everyone! Every Friday this semester at 8PM in the Church, we have an hour of adoration with praise and worship, quiet reflection, and spiritual talks. With snacks after!!!
9. (9/23) Homecoming Parade
All students are invited to walk behind the Boiler Catholics golf cart in this year's homecoming parade! We will be meeting at 7pm in Newman Hall, then walking to the golf cart together. Bring your Boiler Catholics tshirt and come support!!
10. (9/24) SEEK 23 Fundraising Event
All who plan on attending SEEK 23 are encouraged to sign up for our first fundraising event! We will be working as parking attendants at the

11. (9/23) Bridges of Hospitality
Create a space for spiritual growth and interesting conversation with people who grew up in places outside the United States. The international and American communities have much they can share with one another. Join us all for a free dinner at 5:30pm in the Siena Rooms. You can relax, encounter new topics in culture, life, and faith from the people you meet, and have a good time.
12. (9/24) Catholic Young Adults Callout
Calling all Grad Students and young professionals! Come join us for our monthly potluck for food and fellowship at 6:30pm in Newman Hall! With the homecoming game happening at the same time, we will also have the homecoming game going on in the background!
13. (10/1) Salsa Dance Night
Join us Saturday October 1st from 7:00-9:00 P.M in Newman Hall for some Salsa Dancing! Participants of the Puerto Rico Mission trip and Hispanic Catholics are teaming up to put on a night filled with dancing and a variety of snacks to celebrate Spanish Heritage month! We are asking for a free will donation as admission in order to help raise funds for the Puerto Rico Mission trip happening over Christmas Break! Don't know how to dance? Don't worry we have many people that are willing to teach you!
14. (10/1) St. Tom's Fall Service Day
Hand's and Feet of Christ is hosting a parish wide service day on Saturday, October 1,2022 from 8 - noon. We have various projects around the church and rectory including a huge landscaping project on State Street. All help would be greatly appreciated! There will be both indoor and outdoor projects available! Pizza will be available afterwards!

We have Sunday Night Dinner every Sunday for only $3 at 5:30PM in Newman Hall. Bring a friend! Eat, socialize, and have a grand ol' time.
16. (10/2) Saint Francis Pet Blessing
Attention Rover, Fido, Fuzzy and Tweety:
All animals are welcome to come for a blessing at 4:30pm (please caged or leashed only). We will be in the paved parking lot unless it rains, then we will go in the church.
17. Looking for a Place to Study?
St. Toms was voted the #1 place to study by the Purdue Exponent. We have plenty of private classrooms if you want somewhere quite to study. You can also study in Newman hall and socialize with others!
18. Parking at St. Tom's
Students are not to park in the St. Tom’s designated spots during business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). A warning notification is issued twice, and three-peat offenders are towed at the owner’s expense.
19. The Doors off of State Street
For everyone's safety, the doors off of State Street will be locked at midnight from now on. If you would like to come to the church after that time, enter through the doors off of Marsteller Street or off of the parking lot! Thank you :))
20. Looking for a job??
Are you a compassionate care-giver? Do you have a car? We have a resident parishioner, Linas, in Lafayette who is a quadriplegic and is looking for 9 hours/week respite care.
The
caregiver would give water or snack or meds to Linas, check his blood pressure and tilt/ recline him in his wheelchair with the push of a button. The position is Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-6:30pm and Saturday 3:00-6:00pm; pay is $12/hour. Training will be provided; no experience necessary. Please contact

21. Central Catholic FIRST FTC team looking for new mentors.
The CC Sparks robotics team at Lafayette Central Catholic Jr/Sr High School needs mentors for the 22/23 season. Experience on a robotics team is helpful but not required. Mentors guide according to their talents such as design, building, programming, business, social media, and strategy. The team can be flexible with meeting times to fit mentor schedules and mentors do not need to be present at every meeting.
