4:00pm: OLG History Presentation & Blessing
You are invited to join us in the Gymnasium before our Vigil Mass for a casual get together and a little reminiscing about our parish history with long-time parishioner, Mark Vaz. After his talk, we will pray together and have a blessing for our church grounds. See you there!

RESERVED SEATING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR OUR $75 FOR 75 YEARS DONORS
In gratitude to our $75 for 75 Years Donors, you will have access to reserved seating for the 75th Anniversary Dinner on September 17th following the 5:00pm Mass and/or, the Fiesta Mexicana Lunch on September 18th following the 12 Noon Bilingual Mass.
To select your reserved seat please do the following: for Saturday between 4:15-4:45pm, check in at the Reserved Seating Table in front of Stack Center. Show your purchased tickets for the meal and you will be given Reserved place cards to put your name on and access to Stack Center to select your seats and place your Reserved place cards. Once you have selected your seats, head off to Mass. There will not be access to Stack Center for drinks or food prior to the end of the 5:00pm Mass on Saturday.
For Sunday, Fiesta Mexicana, come to Stack Center between 11:15-11:45am to check in at the Reserved Seating Table in front of Stack Center. Registration forms for 1st Communion, Confirmation and Whole Family Catechesis are available in the Parish Office & by clicking the red button below. If you would like to register online, please click the blue button below. Cost is $120 for the 1st child and $60 for each additional child in the same household. Register today to avoid the $20 late fee beginning on October 15th (Registration Deadline extended). If you need financial assistance, please call the Parish Office at 510-537-0806. Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxiliary
Attention Ladies! Come join us on Tuesday, September 20th at 6:30pm in the Stack Center, OLG Room. Become a Columbiette and get active in helping our Knights of Columbus with parish activities and fundraising efforts. Meet other Catholic women of the parish and enjoy the camaraderie! ICF POLENTA FEED
Per favore come and join the ICF, East Bay District, on October 8th in Stack Center as we raise money to support ICF charities. Happy Hour is at 6:00pm and dinner will be served at 7:00pm. Price is $35 per adult and $20 per child. Reservation deadline is September 27th. Mail your reservation and check (payable to ICF East Bay District) to Fran La Torre at 28887 Granada Dr., Hayward, CA 94544. We hope to see many old friends and to meet some new ones! Mangia! Mangia!
BECOME AN ALTAR SERVER
If you are a student in grades 5th-12th, we would like to invite you to become an Altar Server at the weekend Masses. Pick up a Sign-up Form after Mass--they are at the front of the church on the organ console. Servers must have received the first three Sacraments of the Church which are: Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Holy Eucharist.
The remaining Training Sessions starting at 3:15pm are as follows:
Thursdays—Sept 15th, 22nd & Mondays—Sept 19th, 26th
Students who commute will train the same days, from 4:00—5:15pm.
CONFIRMATION TEAM IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS
Our youth Confirmation team is seeking volunteers to help serve in our high school Confirmation program this year. Volunteers are needed in two areas:
1) Joining the classes themselves, which run every other Sunday from September to May, and/or 2) Serving as mentors in Discipleship Conferences, in which volunteers meet individually with youth three times a year to encourage them in their faith as they prepare for Confirmation.
These are both great ways for parishioners to share their faith with our younger generation, and to strengthen the life of our parish for generations to come. If you are interested, please reach out to Leeanne at leeanne.thomas@olgcv.org.
