SS. PETER AND PAUL SCHOOL IS “GOING GREAT GUNS”!
Morale among the school families is high with the new school year, new principal, new technology, new gardens, etc. Last Friday, we celebrated “GRANDPARENTS DAY” and it was a HUGE success! The church was so full, for a while I thought it was Christmas. The breakfast that followed was so enjoyed by all – lovingly donated by a school family!
A grandfather approached me during the breakfast to say that when I asked our children to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” and recite the pledge of allegiance at the end of mass, it really brought tears to his eyes. Yes, it is now a practice that we do at every Monday assembly and at mass on Fridays. One of the things that we ensure is that our children develop a love for GOD AND COUNTRY!

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO ATTENDED OUR MASS FOR THE UNBORN!
Last Saturday, the vigil mass was offered for those poor babies that we lost through abortion. As a parish, we prayed for the parents of these children. We also asked for forgiveness from these innocent children and God for having been “lukewarm” in protecting LIFE! It is only when we realize our shortcomings that we may be able to proceed and correct the wrongs committed to preventing it from continuing. Let us always RESPECT AND PROTECT LIFE!
