Once again the Archdiocese of Detroit will be administering the collection. Please make your checks out to Archdiocese of Detroit – CSA. You will be receiving pledge forms in the mail. Please use these so the AOD knows to give St. Clare credit for your pledge. There will also be pledge cards available at the church in May if you do not receive one by mail. Our target this year is $83,310. Any amount collected in excess of this will remain at St. Clare. Thank you for your commitment to the CSA.
A Prayer for Vocations
God our Father, You made each of us to use our gifts in the Body of Christ.
We ask that You inspire young people whom You call to the priesthood, consecrated life and permanent diaconate to courageously follow Your will. Send workers into Your great harvest so that the Gospel is preached, the poor are served with love, the suffering are comforted, and Your people are strengthened by the sacraments
We ask this through Christ our Lord,
Amen
An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the
Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive
You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive
You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated.
