No one can claim that this Lent has been uneventful! At a minimum we've weathered storms, cancelled classes, and some of us have even been without power, or have lost trees. But... just as winter is waning, and the sun is shining brighter and longer, we are preparing to rejoice!
Here is what to expect this week..
Easter Mailing
As promised, our annual Easter mailing has arrived at our parishioners' homes this week. In it you will find our Holy Week schedule, Easter Offering and Flower Memorial envelopes, Flower Memorial Dedication form, and a Rosary Memorial invitation. If you didn't get yours yet, there are plenty of Holy Week calendars, envelopes and forms available in the vestibule - but let us know so we can check your address. For those of you reserving Flower Memorials, you can send in your requests until Monday, March 26.
Palm Sunday
This weekend we celebrate Palm Sunday. As a rule, it is one of the best attended Masses of the year. To those of you who do attend Mass every Sunday, please be welcoming. This weekend and next are the weekends to bring our neighbors back to the fold.
As always, please remember to treat your Palm with respect, as when it is blessed it will become a Sacramental.
Passover Seder
Registration is closed for this year's Seder. If you are not sure whether you registered, please feel free to call the office. Due to the large number of people who informed us that they will be attending, the Seder will take place in the School Gymnasium. Out of respect to Rabbi Stein, please arrive promptly by 7PM.
Please make sure to keep your Holy Week calendar at hand so you can remember what time our Masses and Services will take place. I look forward to seeing you all this Sunday, and all of Holy Week.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Fr. Ashman
