This Sunday is Palm Sunday and it commemorates the triumphant entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem. On that day, Jesus rode into the city on the back of a borrowed donkey. A HUGE crowd gathered laying down their cloaks in his path and waving leafy branches they had cut from the fields. The entire crowd shouted “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is to come! Hosanna in the highest!” They honored him as the king who would conquer and rejoiced for this man who was their awaited Messiah.
